Prof. Octavio Ribeiro de Mendonça Neto

Prof. Neto has an extensive academic background, beginning with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Mauá Institute of Technology (1972). He later earned a Master’s degree in Accounting and Actuarial Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2002) and completed his Doctorate in Accounting and Actuarial Science at the School of Economics, Business, and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (FEA/USP) in 2007.

Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor I at Presbyterian University Mackenzie and contributes as a faculty member in the Postgraduate Program in Accounting and Business Finance, instructing both Master’s and Professional Doctorate students. Additionally, he holds a position as an Associate Professor at the Methodist University of São Paulo.

His areas of expertise include Finance and Management Accounting. With his extensive academic qualifications and interdisciplinary research interests, Prof. Neto has made significant contributions to the fields of finance and accounting.
